Next, climb the Health Staircase, consisting of 842 steps, which connects the Medeu ice rink to the Shymbulak ski resort. After climbing the Health Staircase, take a cable car ride from Medeu to Shymbulak. The resort is one of the largest ski resorts in Central Asia, offering year-round activities, including hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. The cable car ride itself is a highlight, providing panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks. Stop at the Green Bazaar, a vibrant market offering fresh produce and local goods, and the Official Store of the "Rahat" Chocolate Factory, a place to buy famous Kazakh chocolates. Continue to the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, a historic park with monuments and a wooden church, and Zenkov Cathedral, a stunning wooden cathedral and architectural masterpiece. The final destination is Kok-Tobe, a hill on the outskirts of Almaty that offers sweeping views of the city and the surrounding mountains.
